British imperialism and "divine
authority" lead to the violent theft of land from the Native
Americans and the creation of the Thirteen British Colonies in
the new Americas.
Over time immigration into the new colonies gave way to
expansionism and ultimately the less than peaceful "colonization" of what is now
known as the United States.
Violence and deception has been
at the heart of the present United States with every turn filled
with violent assimilation of cultures from around the world;
each culture adopting the attitude of those that came before them;
the United States is an exclusive club to which none can enter
without prejudice and painful assimilation.
When emigration slows, and cheap
labor is needed, the United States foreign policy results in
what is commonly termed, the
BRAIN DRAIN.
THE FOLLOWING OUTLINES THE
IMMIGRATION OF VARIOUS CULTURES INTO THE UNTIED STATES AND
BULLET POINTS FOR SOME OF THE HARDSHIPS EXPERIENCED ON THEIR
PATH TO BECOMING AMERICANS. |
