Gillian, I’m giving you just a little heads up prior to my next broadcast, and nor am I now including your close colleague Martin Wolf who you should know joined the World Bank in that most important money year 1971 when on August 15 President Nixon when announcing the US was going off the Gold Standard while blaming, “International money speculators” who “are waging an all out war on the $”, did not spell out all their very few names names, as if he, the 37th Commander In Chief of all US Armed Forces who were bombing the crap out of millions of very real people who all had names and families and whose survivors would become our future slave wage earners, was afraid of who exactly, the big bad Wolf?
You, a key participant in the documentary INSIDE JOB now perfectly understand that all that “bugaboo” talk also served most excellently to distract from a key component of going off the Gold Standard that future 19 year Chairman of the US Federal Reserve, Alan Greenspan strongly advocated against in his very easy to understand 1966 essay GOLD AND ECONOMIC FREEDOM; namely, such an unprecedented financial fraud, a premeditated criminal action of the Nth degree, resulted immediately in the US reneging on all the previous promissory notes; i.e. monies, going back to the first Green Backs printed in 1861.
If you were Chairman Mao or one of his army generals, do you think it would have been advisable in the middle of the Chinese 10 year Cultural Revolution to launch the large Chinese trading ships who discovered America in 1421, or do you think their wooden hulls had already rotted; and instead accept the devaluation of the US $ to a flat zero and perhaps have future Chinese people live to tell the tale?
Would you say that the moral burden is on the Chinese or the United States to apologize to the Chinese and other nations who were first subjected to this financial fraud at the Bretton Woods Conference of July 1944 when neither the General of Generals David Ben Gurion nor his partner Jan Smuts demonstrated any signs that their mental faculties were deficient?
Most important, wouldn’t you say, that the month before, July 1971 when the New York Times had the American herd all distracted with the release of the Pentagon Papers which were hugely intimidating to militarily weaker nations who could also read that the whole Vietnam-Cambodia American war was all contrived, China was visited by Nixon’s still prominent National Security Advisor, Henry Kissinger whose foes have been clueless, those not corrupted, about the true evil of Kissinger who of course would argue today that all the stupid people who couldn’t figure out what was going on back then to support the virulently anti-Semitic German-South African Oppenheimers, the pillars of the US Government’s South African Apartheid Regime, would applaud Kissinger and company’s evil to so successfully distract so many, using just a bunch of little words such as, “In defense of our south east Asia policy” that was aimed at stopping the spread of communism, as if supporting monopolists who have no loyalty to country, race or religion and who just steal blind from the poor, is that much better, and congratulate him as a genius, in order to make themselves not feel so stupid.
BTW, do you think it would be humane to give people, no matter their biological age, who were feeling the onslaught of dementia, a pill like the cyanide capsules Hitler’s close aids swallowed, while it was only right that he shoot himself in the head?

Roger first off. Second, I am not about to trash Andrea who I have known since she was a kid, and nor is this one of those Mark Anthony speeches.
I cannot fault Andrea who as your article, Sol Kerzner, Celebrity Hotel and Casino Titan, Struggling to Keep Control points out, is just out for the money, no different to pretty much everyone, including Sol’s many wives, with the possible exception of Andrea’s mother.
Why they would trust their Hollywood celebrity friends to keep their mouths shut is because they don’t trust them to keep their mouths shut.
It is all showbiz and this I know you perfectly understand.
What you probably don’t yet know is that Andrea is only very recently finding out like all those in her circle of rich friends where it is never enough money only because they are not close to as well connected money wise as they thought, that they are all pawns; and you know the saying, “At the end of the game the king and the pawn go in the same box.”
Go with that where you wish.
