Simple answer: veganism has (and has already had) a significant impact on the earnings of American agribusiness. The dairy industry and the meat industry have already lost billions in annual income due to the recent explosive growth of veganism. And the Republicans get major funding from agribusiness. So they’re never going to support veganism. The solution? Stop voting Republican. Happy times!

I’m halfway there. I gave up all dairy in 2016. It was not difficult except for the cheese. I use date syrup instead of honey. I’ve given up eggs. But I still eat meat occasionally on doctors’ orders – I’m recovering from a broken leg & hip, lay in bed for two years, and now have to build up my muscles.

I work for a doctor. He says I will never regain my strength eating just nuts. Sorry. I don’t like it. As soon as I regain some muscle strength, the meat is gone.
If you know of another way to build up muscles without eating meat, please advise. Thanks.
