The fact that my family was the most connected family to an American who ran the South African economy from the end of WW II until his death on March 2, 1971, makes me very worldly and objective.

it is you who seems to want to make the Krok family a personal issue, and I assume you see some money in it for yourself?

How do you make a living; how do you pay your bills.

if you want to expose all the big corruption of South Africa why would you stop with the small fish?

 

Have you any idea of the amount of small time journalists like yourself I got to see kowering during the year long interviewing process I had before joining De Beers officially in New York City in early spring 1979? Not one ever mentioned a word about De Beers-Oppenheimer throughout the remainder of their long careers.

 

I was still 21 at the time and I got to see not only all their direct investments but more importantly how they excerted influence over their target companies including having their weak adversaries engage in money laundering and Illicit Diamond Buying.

 

It doesn’t seem to me that you are up to the task.

Engelhard Enterprises SA was the “control person” of the banking-mining consortium De Beers-Anglo American Corporation which includes Barclays Bank.

 

D. Gevisser is the person referenced as the “male heir” of Charles Engelhard in chapter 18 of The Diamond Invention book that is available free on The Internet.

 

You never answered my question whether you are willing to expose the Oppenheimer family whose crimes make those of the Kroks the equivalent of throwing a pebble in the Indian ocean?
