@WalterIsaacson, I was a little younger than you when I was recruited in early 1978 right out of university by banking-mineral monopolist, virulent anti-Semite, Harry Oppenheimer.
What and when did you know all about “masters of disguise”, anti-competition, eliminators of all opposition, warmonger, South African Oppenheimers, backer of all sides to war and therefore cannot possibly lose, and who took over from ruthless colonialist ,Cecil Rhodes in the same year of his death, 1902?
I have not read your biography of Elon, who granted you unfettered access over a two year period, but I have watched several of your interviews where you are flogging the book.
Nor is it difficult with my background to draw inferences, helped greatly by the same constant theme of Elon having this “demon mode” which for all I know, and I could be swayed, came about first with talk of “demode”, change something that is going out of fashion from the French word, “démodé” out of date, outmoded and try something else, to “demon mode”?
Not to mention, once the first Model S came off the assembly line on 22 June 2012, and Big Oil-ICE automobiles and trucks executives didn’t hang their heads in shame, then the SEC should have chopped off, figuratively speaking, their legs below their knees, given how obvious it is that they are opposed to anything that is good for the planet and the aftermath of the destruction of the air we all breath and the soil that grows our food, is a weakening body-mind human population who can be that much more easily brainwashed to go down with the ship
and the unconscious Captains of Industry laughing
until the bitter end.
Maybe it was Elon who said “demon mode” is “more striking, O my God, brings more attention than demode”, change path?
Elon gets pissed because people don’t perform fast enough for his liking; maybe it is because they don’t benefit as much as he does?
BTW, not all of this I picked up in these same elongate
d interviews.
As I said, I come well prepared to this debate.
Moreover, there is no time to be lost because Elon is going to be feeling his age very soon. His metabolism is not what it used to be; his very unhealthy diet, which his mother, the dietician failed to address early, may already be taking its toll.
Nor do I think he has the secret to the spin of the universe, yet.
BTW, if it isn’t already clear, I think Elon is more spectacular than he realizes. His promotion of “outragious” [sic] Cryptos that are not tied to the production of goods and services and therefore 100% inflation, exposes the calamity of the world’s central banks and all the world’s economists not screaming out loud Cryptos’ violations of economic studies’ first principles.
In a nutshell, it is highly likely that your book misses, in my opinion, the politics-economics of Apartheid South Africa that is inextricably tied to Elon’s miserable upbringing with neither parent being exemplary; moreover, for his maternal grandparents to venture to mineral rich South Africa at the height of the brutal, macabre Apartheid Regime and not stand alongside the dwindling opposition such as my parents and both sets of grandparents whose favorite offspring are responsible for my unwavering curiosity, seeking of truth, smacks of them being ardent supporters of the heinous Apartheid Regime ahead of their arrival; nor would they have been alone.
Most all of the wealth of the white South Africans came from the theft of the land using monies from different countries that were no less manipulated than the Apartheid Laws designed to give the SA Oppenheimers cheap labor while promoting the IN GOD WE TRUST money as close to perfection as it gets.
Common thieves double down, why would we expect any less from the biggest thieves who choose the worst of humanity as the politicians?
The same of course cannot be said of Elon’s paternal grandparents beginning with Errol Musk’s father who is depicted in the media, and it may be true, that he was washed out, battling both alcoholism and finding decent paying employment which makes perfect sense given how both his Military Intelligence under General Smuts where he was a cryptanalyst from 1939 to the end of the war, “all the way into Europe” according to Errol Musk, as well as his logical support of General Smuts, the exact opposite of the Apartheid Regime who replaced Smuts in the rigged 26 May 1948 South African General Election while “Trojan Horse” Harry Oppenheimer was elected to Parliament under Smuts’ United Party banner, would not have been celebrated by the Oppenheimers’ Apartheid Regime whose draconian racial policies, making slaves of the majority population served to distract, to put it mildly, by land grabs using the pointed gun that continued uninterrupted for 46 years before Harry Oppenheimer replaced the Apartheid Regime with the equally nefarious African National Congress,
who have failed to deliver to the majority black South Africans their inalienable rights, far from it, in fact.
Stellenbosch University Professor Sampie Terreblanche spells out very clearly the duplicity of Harry Oppenheimer when handling Nelson Mandela, who quickly went from “growth through redistribution” to “redistribution through growth” which only makes sense if you are an idiot student of economics which most are, and why we have this idiot middle class economist-financiers who don’t know their arse from their elbows.
So of course I perfectly understand not only is your book published this month but why it is available at airport kiosks by future clients of mine Simon & Schuster who published in 1982 Professor Edward Jay Epstein’s epic 1978 non-fiction, page-turner book, The Diamond Invention which is available free on the Internet, just like the SA Oppenheimers’ monies, starting with their exclusive supply of unlimited and untraceable, never inventoried diamond currency which makes a total mockery of the monetary and fiscal policies of each of their “state capture” nations; and all the laws, rules and regulations geared to provide an air of propriety as well as confuse the increasingly fearful populace while cushioning the governments with layers of “buerocratic” [sic] little officials each having their turf fights.

As a footnote: You were one of 8 Rhodes-De Beers-Oppenheimer Scholars from the Class of ’74. I know that every Rhodes-Oppenheimer Scholar is provided a dossier on the history of this mafia monopoly, a protection racket like none other in history, upon arriving at Oxford. This I know directly from Harry Oppenheimer near the start of my year long orientation before officially joining them in early spring 1979 when I was still 21 years of age.
