He is my second cousin.
His father David Gevisser the “male heir” of German-American Charles W. Engelhard Jr. who was the “military might” behind the German-South African Oppenheimer family, made the initial introductions which led to me joining the DAAC officially in early spring 1979 after a year long orientation that was directly supervised by DAAC head, Harry Oppenheimer.
