I don’t have a lot of thoughts about warning to Christians. It’s an area I think about only rarely. I grew up in a Christian family, but I’m not convinced.

I’m a skeptic, so you know, of religion. I’m not hostile, though. A lot of what you write escapes me at least in detail. I know who Ben Gurion is.
I’m certainly interested in the history of Israel. Eschatological interpretation, less so.

Bear in mind this Israeli cousin is no dummy; and nor would he think for a moment there is reason to question my analytical skills or knowledge of how the real world works as it applies to Israel or anywhere else in the world. I prefer truth over falsehood, however ugly that truth is, which is part of the discipline of being a scientist who has been directly responsible for things getting discovered, invented, and produced.
I am dedicated to reason. I am measured in response. I apportion belief to evidence, and will be honest when I am unable to parse or understand. Nullius in verba, though I am not looking to trick, trap, or befuddle. If there is uncertainty, I say so, and expect the same. Others faith does not move me, but there evidence will whether it suits me or not.

Your mother is lovely, is clearly sharp and insightful, and does not appear to me to be having any cognitive issues. I am no expert, but have seen the cognitive decline of some family members. It did not present itself like this.
Do you think people see humanity as getting better? My experience is that, especially among young people I mentor, there is a lot of pessimism. Not necessarily a representative sample, to be sure. Graduate students in engineering and chemistry.

They are pessimistic because they are without knowledge of how the real world works and the educators don’t want them to know once they come across either me or Professor Edward Jay Epstein’s epic 1978 nonfiction novel The Diamond Invention.
Also you don’t need to be an expert, only human to know that my mother Zena’s cognitive skills were better than anyone you know including yourself.

David, you know I have long known the business of academia and why it is that the least questioning rise to the top.
That doesn’t stop me from playing all the cards I am dealt and if I find that needle in a haystack, great; and if not then the next card I’m dealt will be even greater.
I have 64 years of experience on this planet tucked under my dealt as proof positive I know what I’m talking about.
When you ignored my polite and appropriate request for you to send me a copy of what this insincere woman Cate Bennett last wrote to me publicly on her wall where she refers to you as “brilliant” and seeking your help in understanding my exposing the fraud of the religious and academia who make out that they are truth seekers and disinclined towards pagan rituals and beliefs, it did not escape my attention.
You look like a taker which is what the human race has become as technology allows us more and more to share and to end our selfishness that drives both waste and destruction of the planet.
