You realize as it all sinks in that everyone around you who you know and don’t, including voices on the radio and new as well as old faces on TV who you have forgotten about, they are either ignorant or feigning the knowledge that you now have about the price of everything having nothing to do with the resources that remain out there, but simply sufficient numbers of people around the world who still believe that they have no reason to question the value of the money, because your mind keeps telling you that you can fool some of the people some of the time but not all the people all the time.

Don’t forget that not only can each of us only speak for ourselves, but in a democracy each of us is entitled to only one vote and that includes the candidates running for political office who have even more of a fiduciary responsibility to tell the truth.
