Yesterday, some of you, such as @Solly Krok knows that I had a more than 4 hour phone conversation with the most competent, nice Apple customer support person who was working from home; she was totally brilliant.

In the course of her working on 4 different computing devices, 2 iphones, an Ipad, and this MacBook Air that Im typing on, I shared with her my success as a post graduate University of Kwazulu-Natal business-economics tutor.

In less than a minute that didn’t interrupt the flow of her important work, not for a moment, this 27 year old lady who has a most obedient dog as her full time companion because she works from home over in Texas, not only understood perfectly why I had the highest dropout rate but the best attendance record which included most all of those who dropped out plus they brought their friends along to learn what a total waste of time, energy and money is going to university unless you want to become a dentist, which doesn’t require university or a computer programmer which doesn’t require attending university unless you have time to waste and money to burn.

How can you have such extraordinary advances in technology, specifically communications technology – as rocket technology really hasnt improved much since the 60s, and our rockets not getting us very far, gravity doing most of the work in deep space which we havent really touched, thank God – and the people so obviously stupid.
