I’ve posted this before. It’s an excerpt from my old PBS documentary, “1968: The Year that Shaped a Generation.” What a different world we’d be living in had Robert Kennedy lived to become president instead of Nixon in 1968. Listen for the line, “What politician reads Camus?”

Robert G. Swan I worked on RFK’s 1968 presidential campaign. I was also in the Ambassador Hotel ballroom on that devastating night – late June 4th and early June 5th 1968 ( around midnight ). RFK would have been a great president. RFK would have led our country in a much different – and much better direction.

Gary Gevisser Who remembers how Senator Robert F. Kennedy helped the majority black South Africans after he spoke so ravishingly back on June 6, 1966 at Cape Town University; not to mention dead 2 years to the day later?

Isn’t the follow up, such as who he met with as well as chose not to meet, not important even if sex and money is your goal?

and that visit as you can well see was met with the last of the stiff genuine opposition to the puppet Apartheid Regime; and we are talking about 19 odd years after his younger brother, Attorney General of the United States, Robert F. Kennedy Esq. failed to act decisively in the best interests of the black majority South Africans.

couldn’t get enough of the American Kennedy clan whose Patriarch Joe Kennedy Snr, they had owned lock, stock and barrel going back to at least 1934 when President Franklin D. Roosevelt nominated him to be the inaugural chairman of the SEC [Securities Exchange Commission] which was the same year the highly illogical, morally reprehensible Gross Domestic Product index was introduced and its catastrophic consequences continue to this hour, was not about to share with me the dark secrets of The DAAC [De beers-Anglo American Corporation] Octopus just because I bathed and had equally respectable table manners.

So if you know the first thing about formal economics training you know about the theory of the supply and demand, versus the Law of Supply and Demand.

And that brings us to the area of law where all study of economics falls completely apart and in the process the study of law.

If coercion of any kind is exerted on either party to a contract, no matter how important it is to national security, then it can’t be made null and void.

Now you know that is not exactly how the university text book reads on this very important subject of contract law which governs not only all contracts but the adjudication of all disputes even amongst friendly parties.

first published via email to most of her inner circle back on September 25, 2001, just 7 months and 24 days after the first of my four articles condemning the pardon of terrorist financier Marc Rich was published in the Jerusalem Post, February 1, 2001.

Here’s the section:

Back to Senator RFK who was no longer Attorney General on June 6, 1966, but he was undoubtedly the most celebrated around the world US Senator.

As his speech ended to rousing applause, a member of his “advance team” a journalist who I most likely knew, but I made a point of not asking my mother Zena because I wouldn’t want to make her uncomfortable and nor is this person important, called my mother and asked, “Do you know who Senator Kennedy should not meet?”

That question would be funny to most and the person asking the question had thought carefully before asking and which my mother perfectly understood; and so while giving the Zena Gevisser unique and quite wonderful laugh, my mother had the journalist repeat the question which she did.

Nor is it important what answer my mother gave.

Most certainly my mother did not spell out that it would be foolish for Senator Robert Kennedy to meet with either Harry Oppenheimer or Engelhard Jr.

The first photo above is taken at the opening of the World’s Fair in New York City back in May 1964, by which time President John F. Kennedy was now “long dead”.

You see the new President Johnson one away from Engelhard Jr. who is on the far left of one of the most interesting photos ever taken; especially once you have the chronology down, which most don’t because in neither the study of economics nor the study of law do they teach military-economics which blows both social studies as well as the study of political science which generates our lawyers and judges, clean out of the water.

The second photo of Engelhard Jr. who is already starting to show his obesity was taken the following year in 1965, again well after President Johnson signed The Gulf of Tonkin Resolution which took place on August 10, 1964, the same day that, not the Great White Fleet, but rather the nuclear powered and armed aircraft carrier fleet Enterprise rounded the Cape of Good Hope and all the ANC prisoners like Nelson Mandela housed just offshore on Robben Island, could not miss its presence or great significance since you should know, if you have an interest in minerals, civil rights, truth etc that 112 days before or if you would prefer 3 months and 21 days earlier, April 20, 1964, Nelson Mandela gave his infamous “I am Prepared to Die” speech from the dock of the Apartheid Regime’s Supreme Court which when you read it again, and no need for a slow pace, it should be retitled, “I am NOT Prepared to Die” because it sounds like a slave asking their master for a slave wage increase.

Remember at the opening ceremonies of the World’s Fair, the Attorney General at the time was Robert F. Kennedy.

He would only step down on September 3, 1964.

Of course you remember what took place less than a month before when all eyes of the masses were over “In Defense of our South East Asia Policy” which simply prepared the Vietnamese-Cambodian farmers to serve faithfully in our future factories and not to even think of stepping back on to their farmlands unless they wished for their limbs to help detonate the purposefully left undetonated cluster bombs.

Again, I – a simple white South African not even coming from the class of the Jewish priests, a common Israelite just like the masses of us Jewish people throughout the world – am not responsible for setting the educational requirements of future talkers such as medical doctors, politicians, lawyers and the such.

The fact that I probably know my adopted country’s history better than most American professors of history is because I know from observing all the mine dumps in South Africa to follow the mineral resource trail which is far more important than the money.

By that I do not mean that I string a saddle over the smallest ant I can find and think if I wave my arms and hands it will be enough to give the ant sufficiently lift to fly us to the bottom of the mine dump and then wait for its buddies to get enough of them to drag me back to the top.

You recall what happened just the month before, April 1964 in mineral rich South Africa which is very close to the places like Botswana, Namibia, Angola and very important Belgian Congo.

How can anyone forget Senator Barack Obama’s support, actually he was the primary sponsor of the heinous Congo Relief Security & Democracy Promotion Act which the US Congress signed into law in December 2006, one year exactly after Senator Obama stepped up to the plate but failed when visiting South Africa for the first time in August 2006 to knock it out of the ballpark.

however, wasted no time in “picking up the slack” although I strongly suspect that President Putin knew perfectly well when meeting with Uranium King, Nicholas Oppenheimer, the only son of Harry Oppenheimer, that Senator Barack Obama would follow in the identical footsteps of Senator Robert F. Kennedy and fail to demand to a public audience with mineral monopolist Nick Oppenheimer whose immediate family have owned the world’s drilling business since the turn of the last century.

You should also know that while it can’t be legally wrong for someone to desire to own the entire universe since the start of the expansion of the universe as we know it, if you are going to to first start out your empire building

which naturally should begin on spaceship Mother Earth, and you know E=mc2 in reverse reads, To see ME, at least in the English language, it would foolish if not suicidal to pay your Cavalry In Arms [CIA], local police forces, Homeland Security Border Patrol Officers nothing less than the lion’s share of the spoils of war.

Bear in mind, that most people when talking favorably about an assassinated leader think that things will be better if they had lived and that isn’t necessarily the case.

The fact that Richard Nixon was a total disaster and lied as much as any of the politicians immediately preceding him “incuding” [sic] President Eisenhower who had to think we were all fools when giving his infamous warning, Industrial-Complex speech on January 17, 1961, the same day the CIA followed through on his order to assassinate Belgian Congo prime minister, Patrice Lumumba, doesn’t mean that Senator Robert F. Kennedy would have been any better for the poor of the world.

Moreover, had he not continued to follow orders, his life would have been cut short.

Would you do any different if you wanted the grand lifestyle of the world’s most wildly successful monopolist and their stooges such as Marc Rich?

Of course the German-South African Oppenheimers were not forced to supply Hitler with his industrial diamond needs and therefore of course they pulled out all stops to [avoid being] prosecuted at Nuremberg.

So should they continue to get away with rigging elections as they do every market they enter, starting with the currency trading?

I doubt it, but [let me know] if anyone wants to discuss Nixon’s incomprehensible speech on August 15, 1971 which only two other people on the planet knew what he was talking about, namely Harry Oppenheimer and my “lucky uncle” David Gevisser [1926-2009]

Kennedy, the Gentleman’s University of Virginia Law School where if King, which is his real name, didn’t come top of his class, he would have been up amongst the very top and not fully achieving greatness because King liked to party; not to mention, [King] left of left wing liberal Democrat went on to serve in America’s most notorious weapons designer and developer, Science Applications International Corporation [SAIC] for a period of half a dozen years before throwing in the towel in the early ’80s and going in to private practice where I was his most fun and lucrative client and I believe he would agree on both points, which is not to say that the two of us didn’t have the best time with his “bosom buddy”, Roger W. Robinson, a right wing conservative who served under David Rockefeller at Chase Bank before joining in March 1982, the National Security Council where his knowledge in “Soviet Economics” not quite up there in terms of oxymorons such as the best, “Mankind” had him running the war department which is not to suggest for a moment that Nancy Reagan didn’t like “Our man Roger” because she couldn’t get enough of him, thanks her husband and Roger sharing the same initials RWR, and both born on the same day February 6, just 40 years apart.

Nor would you be right if you thought “Our Man Roger” and King Golden Jr. didn’t talk politics but not as much as the girl talk which is what you would expect from anyone bored with the rat race?

In the last hours of the ’72 election which had DAAC President Nixon reelected in a landslide, King Golden Jr. was standing alongside Senator Muskie on that flatbed trailer when Muskie began to fall apart because his sensitivity about his wife’s smoking and bad language was just too much, and King thought of throwing himself into the crowd, and it would have probably changed history, who knows.
