Imagine yourself right now, a member of “begging for pennies” ChaBAD sic, such as Benzion Going Around The Bend To Oblivion And Beyond aka GemACH arriving at the residence of Revlon owner, multi-billionaire Ronald “The Finagle King” Perelman who I first met in late 1993 during a short elevator ride at the not exactly inconspicuous, spectacular residence on the upper east end of Manhattan overlooking Central Park of Chairman of the Board Hearst Corporation, Randolph Apperson Hearst and his much younger wife, Veronica de Gruyter who is more than likely responsible for her husband of 6 years stepping down in 1996 after some 23 odd years as Chairman of the richest private media company in the world, aside from the SA Oppenheimers-Madison Avenue-Hollywood-Morgan Bank empire who could have wiped out Hearst Corporation in a heartbeat, but that would have been stupid to mess with something that had worked so well.
Of course despite being Harvard schooled, and an “accomlished” [sic] World War II pilot, R. A. Hearst had many unanswered questions until meeting up with me, thanks to an introduction from my eldest brother, massage therapist Neil Graham Gevisser who massaged the couple regularly for many years.
By this time, and we are talking about 29 odd years later, 80 year old Ronald “O Ring” Perelman (January 1, 1943 – ) would be more familiar with my “risk assessment” work-product
than he was during that elevator ride when yet to hear that he was about to be “dissed”, preventing him from owning a home in the most sought after address on US soil because of his unfair, lack of “mensch” business trading practices which became fully revealed soon after Mr. @Jeffrey Robert Krinsk Esq., with my pivotal input that was based purely on instinct and supported by highly credible mathematical analysis, filed on 1 October 1999 Wall Street’s most epic shareholder class action lawsuit against Perelman and his Revlon officials; and of course it took a lot of courage on the part of Mr. JRK Esq. but he also had good reason to trust my good judgement.
Nor did it take Perelman with the strongest “money ties” to ChaBAD sic, long to figure my involvement; and to let me know my name was at the “top of the hit list” when his lawyers in an unrelated lawsuit attempted to intimidate a Revlon employee whose nickname “The Nose” was suing Revlon-Perelman for wrongful termination when bringing up my name; and of course, it caught “The Nose” by surprise.
To Mr. JRK Esq.’s great credit he decided to not seek more information from The Nose but by this time the noose was getting tighter around Perelman’s neck.
Nor is Perelman a poor man today even if the New York Supreme Court rejects his claims against the insurers of five paintings he insured for $410 million that got damaged in a 2018 fire of his
Wikipedia ~ “Près Choisis” (now called “The Creeks”) a 40-room Mediterranean-style villa on Georgica Pond in East Hampton, Long Island, built in 1899 by the artists Adele and Albert Herter. Insurers paid around $141 million for fire damage.
Perelman not only reads the newspapers but he hasn’t forgotten why his insurers were quick to pay Mr. JRK Esq. $10 million to settle rather than have the dispute go to trial.
The filthy rich hate more than anything else losing when the odds of success are greatly in their favor.
