Why aren’t the 22 year old full of themselves, college kids, and the old farts, who only know what the tv and their friends listening and watching the same tv-radio, just as worthless when they were younger, hooked on wrong history and economics textbooks, not asking for a doctor to visit all the hostages, and confirm those alive, leaving the remainder, by deduction, dead, and for the monster abductors to release all the hostages without preconditions?
 
Or, is their argument, why shouldn’t hostage taking be allowed by those militarily weaker, until they are strong enough to defeat the enemy in battle, have their new slaves clean the houses, prepare, maintain the landscaping, fetching, taking the children to school, all the extracurricular activities, ballet, volleyball, piano lessons, karate, soccer, rugby, tennis, swimming, surfing, movies and restaurants with friends, giving the poorly aging parents, their energy waning, more time to sit and relax in peace and quiet, waiting to die, boringly conversing about the ills of the world?
 
Are the teachers of morals and ethics eminently qualified philosophers?
 
What is truth, when you don’t have the hard, irrefutable facts?
 
People are all one way, lacking common sense, fixated on money in their pocket and how to grab more, without questioning, how and who sets the value of the monies-bitcoins, insurance premiums, college tuition, gas and electric bills, credit card interest, real estate, weaponry and the such, all the while busy on social media saying nothing of importance, playing voyeur, spying on their family and friends; Subanimal Human Evolutionary Ecological Problem [SHEEP], singularly focused, besides for the money, that their presence confirms they are relevant; while rightly convinced, there has to be purpose to everything, including the most beautiful singing wrens building their nest, delicately picking the right twigs, and cushioning, for when the eggs hatch, the anything but fun, untrained dog pulling on its leash, and the motorcycle rider revving the horrible sound Harley Davidson engine at the traffic light, spewing his toxic exhaust fumes to match the noise pollution, because he is either pissed off at the world, rightly so, has no beautiful lover, or he has a fat, ugly, smelly wife, who is also passive aggressively taking her vengeance.
 
Today is 79 years and 19 days since my most amazing Allied Fighter Bomber Pilot father, 21 year old, good looking, Bernie Gevisser (1923-2012) completed his final 71st mission, 15 April 1945, fully aware military economics dictates all history, past and present, that is not taught in university, or anywhere else for that matter, including fully infiltrated terrorist groups like Hamas-Hezbollah-South African Apartheid Regime, before heading back from the rugged terrain of northern Italy to Durban, South Africa, to say goodbye to his dying mother, who passed away on 8 June 1945, age 50.
 
All of us dead in say 75 years, which is most of us, will, know, if there is life after death, for sure; will that thought change your behavior going forward, or will you continue to be selfish, future shellfish, stupid?
