I experienced it’s a very personal perspective, unless you talk about certain physical features that our caveman age part of the brain sees as beneficial for successful reproduction and influences our choices more so if the person has not yet learned to control that to an extent

The devolution of the human is perfectly illustrated in its failure to examine the money that destroyed its natural survival instincts that with all the other much more sensitive animals and insects is based entirely on looks, the beauty of strength and agility that increases the chances of survival.
When they are given the information on how the money is manipulated which has warped their minds, they go into denial.
