Here is old news, but it applies to those genuinely seeking out the divine or money; more likely money.
No one really seeking the divine otherwise they would be wiser.
It wasn’t but days ago the world heard that the owner of the American football team, the Miami Dolphins tried to bribe his head coach to lose games so that the owner would make more money down the road.
The head coach, and joined by others, filed a class action lawsuit.
It made headline news in places like Drudgerport.
Then it went away.
People got back into their normal routine of waiting for the next distraction to react to, this new material to discuss with those they want to impress with conversation to pass the time, and make money.
The halftime show at the Super Bowl included no mention of this disgusting, brazen fooling of both viewers and players risking their brains and other bodily accoutrements believing in their coaches and owners only wanting to win.
Look how serious are coaches walking down the sidelines and tossing their headsets on the ground after one of their players screws up.
Btw, I haven’t watched an American football game in more than 3 decades, but of course it is the same in all professional sports.
Again, obviously, the acting is not limited to the Miami Dolphin’s head coach.
How can being entertained be so important?
Surely there is a difference between professional sports and what you hope to see at the Comedy Store?
A comedian rarely demonstrates athleticism which at the professional level takes more than putting one’s hand into the trouser pocket, pulling out the cellphone and making a call to Nicholas Oppenheimer to get the cheapest bribe money.
Can it all come down to the children raised from the cradle with blaring iPhones and IPads that don’t even take a break in their strollers as their parents balloon out on the crap food?
Of course not, there has to be more going on than 8 billion acting like Alien Invaders (AI).
Someone has to make sense of it all when the solution is so obvious.
If you have the owner of a multibillion enterprise bribing their head coach to lose, then it must enter your head knowing that all advertising is bullshit that it is possible that Russian tennis player Medvedev decided to throw the match with Rafa after crushing Rafa in the first 2 sets of the Australian Open, and bored to death with ceremonies after, all to promote, and the fat head of KIA not looking like he plays much tennis.
All you need to know about what is going on at the very top where you have one mineral-banking monopolist, SA Oppenheimers-De Beers in charge of everything including the distracting wars and buildup of troops along the border of Ukraine and Russia is to read what I have been recommending over the past more than 18 years, Professor Edward Jay Epstein’s epic 1978 nonfiction book THE DIAMOND INVENTION which an average reader can accomplish in less than 3 hours while taking breaks to go to the bathroom and eat without losing track.
